“Powerful Solution of Borers and FAW”
Product Category: Insecticide (Wettable Granules)
Active ingredient: Chlorantraniliprole 20 % + Thiamethoxam 20%
Target Crop: Rice, Maize, Cotton
Target Pest: Stem Borers, Fall Armyworms, Jassid, Plant Hoppers, Leaf Folder
Mode of Action:
Key Properties:
Long-lasting Control:
Chlorantraniliprole belongs to a relatively new class of insecticides known as anthranilic diamides and is highly selective towards ryanodine receptors that are critical for muscle contraction in insects. Therefore, provides superior control against borers.
Systemic Activity:
It provides high systemic and residual activity by quick absorption through plant tissues and leaves.
Resistance Management in Borers:
It is active on chewing pests primarily by ingestion and secondarily by contact and shows good ovi-larvicidal and larvicidal activity. With its unique mode of action, it disconnects the food supply of affected insects. Therefore, it provides quick and long-term solution to borers.
Improves Tillering:
A highly effective product for the control of lepidoptera and has knockout capabilities specially targeting sucking insects. Therefore, helps to improve plant health and ensures high yield.
Low Mammalian Toxicity:
Chlorantraniliprole activates ryanodine receptors by stimulating the release of calcium stores from the sarcoplasmic reticulum of muscle cells causing impaired regulation, paralysis, and ultimately death of target insects. The differential selectivity of Chlorantraniliprole towards insect ryanodine receptors explains its low mammalian toxicity.
No Stress to Crop:
It is highly safe for crops and does not induce any stress. Therefore, provides better ROI and peace of mind to growers.

Method of Application:
Apply product by foliar spraying or flooding when the insect population reaches ETL.
For optimal management of borers and FAW, repeat sprays at the interval of 7-10 days.
For optimal management of the leaf folder, inspect the field for symptoms of attack at 40-45 days after transplantation. Apply the product as soon as initial symptoms are visible.
The volume of water required will depend on crop stage, crop height, and the total area to be treated.
Ensure thorough coverage of the crop.
Take all safety measures while spraying/flooding the product.
